What to do after your order. Everything you want to know about your order, maintenance and what to do if you are (dis)satisfied with your purchase.

Before you pick up a pen or contact us; read on first, your answer may already be described here.

The most important aftercare is what your rights are; Here you can read a short summary, in line with the Dutch legislation regarding sales to consumers. But do read the General Terms and Conditions for more details with even more letters.

BASt invoices based on Dutch VAT; 21%BTW based on EU rulings for international orders up to €10.000/year.

Reflection period

Orders can be cancelled up to 14 days after receipt without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, you can contact us via the contact form below or by responding to the order email.

After cancellation you have another 14 days to return the item. You will then be credited with the full order amount including shipping costs.

Only the costs for the return shipment are at your own expense.

Custom made or personalized

A number of items on the site can be ordered, adjusted or personalized. Please note that these types of custom items are exempt from the statutory right of withdrawal . Digital products and designs are also included.

Of course it can always happen that you are not satisfied with your order. Please contact us, then we will surely find a solution.

Shipping in re-used boxes

BASt ships in reusable boxes wherever possible. Every ton of reusable corrugated cardboard saves over 20,000 litres of water, 2,000km of fuel, over 3 cubic metres of landfill capacity and 266kg of air pollution.
This may mean that items are delivered in a box from another (web) store, brand or item.

Return Shipping

After you use the right of withdrawal, we ask you to return your order including all accessories in the original condition and packaging. As soon as the returned product is received in good condition, the amount due will be refunded within 14 days. Your help in taking care of the returned items helps to waste them as little as possible and make them usable for others.

Items packaged in a mylar bag with snap closure can be opened without damaging the packaging; For returns with damaged packaging, €1,- will be deducted from the return amount.

Any damage to the articles that has not been reported in advance as a product defect will be charged.

Return shipping costs are at your own expense.

  • Aftercare 3D Prints

    In 3D printing, the object is built up from thin layers that are fused together.

    It is therefore normal to see some lines and occasionally encounter small threads or bumps; however, these do not affect the quality of the product.

    Due to the tight tolerances, accessories can sometimes fit a little too tight. This can usually be easily adjusted with some sandpaper or a knife.

  • Aftercare Wooden Articles

    Please note: wooden products are never dishwasher safe! Serving boards can be kept looking good for the longest time by washing them with warm water and a mild detergent. Do not use a scouring pad. Then dry them and place them upright. Do not do this above a heater, because then the wood can warp. Treat them once a month with a good layer of oil and let it soak in. A simple grape seed oil is sufficient and is also food safe.
